Joint Fraud Protection Working Group
The purpose of this meeting is to continue discussions concerning fraud protection and consider bill drafts and amendments for the Joint Corporation Committee's consideration during their next meeting, October 15-16, 2026 in Casper. There is no structured agenda for this working group. <br /><br />The meeting will be held primarily on Zoom, with no livestreaming. Joint Agriculture, State and Public Lands & Water Resources
The purpose of this meeting is to finalize the Committee's interim work. The Committee will consider a bill draft to revise the Veterinary Practice Act to allow laypersons to perform pregnancy examinations on cattle and sheep. The Committee will also consider draft legislation that would require fencing to prevent livestock trespass from federal lands onto private property and imposing liability on livestock owners. <br /><br />The meeting will be held in person in Sheridan and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature's Website (www.wyoleg.gov). Joint Select Committee on Blockchain, Financial Technology and Digital Innovation Technology
The purpose of this meeting is to continue the Select Committee's interim work. The Select Committee will receive updates from the Wyoming Stable Token Commission, the Office of U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis, and the University of Wyoming. The Select Committee will discuss bill drafts related to the Wyoming Digital Asset Authority, data privacy, artificial intelligence, automatic license plate readers, the Model Money Transmission Modernization Act, virtual currency kiosks, and public utilities. The Select Committee will further consider updates regarding registered agents and digital identifiers. <br /><br />The meeting will be held in person in Laramie and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature's Website (www.wyoleg.gov). There is paid parking for the public on the south side of the 3rd floor of the parking garage located on Grand Avenue between 12th and 11th streets. The UW Express Shuttle bus service runs continuously to the Wyoming Union every 10 minutes from free parking lots located at 15th and Spring Creek and 30th and Willett Drive as well. Please pay close attention to street signs if you elect to find parking on city streets around campus as many areas are limited to City of Laramie permitted parking that is strictly enforced.
Joint Capitol Interpretive Exhibits and Wayfinding Subcommittee
Joint Labor, Health & Social Services
The purpose of this meeting is to continue the Committee's interim work. The Committee will consider legislation relating to worker's compensation mental health coverage for emergency communications professionals and ski patrol. The Wyoming Board of Nursing will present information regarding required education for varying levels of licensure and discuss enrollment issues pertaining to Certified Nursing Assistant programs. Recruiting health care workers within the state will be discussed via the Physicians Access Act. The Committee will hear additional information from both WWAMI and WICHE regarding application denials and veterinary medicine students not required to return to Wyoming. The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) will provide an update on the Rural Health Transformation program which will include a discussion regarding scope of practice for dental hygienists and pharmacists. Additional statutory requests from the WDH will be considered. Joint Select Federal Natural Resource Management Committee
The purpose of this meeting is to complete the Committee's interim work. The Committee will receive information and updates on: (1) Congressional Action on Enacted Wyoming Resolutions; (2) Wildhorse Management; and (3) Fuels Mitigation. <br /><br />The meeting will be held in-person in Casper and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature's Website www.wyoleg.gov. The purpose of this meeting is to receive testimony and consider potential legislation related to problem gambling prevention and treatment, the Wyoming Gaming Commission's statutory authority, online casinos and sweepstakes, charitable raffles and drawings, skill-based amusement gaming, and pari-mutuel wagering. Joint Health Insurance Affordability Task Force
The purpose of this meeting is to complete the Task Force's interim work. The Task Force will consider bill drafts related to a Wyoming medical device group purchasing organization and a Wyoming limited and catastrophic medical coverage pool. The Task Force will receive information regarding Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) funding, health insurance cost-sharing models, hospital price regulation concepts, all-payer claims databases, and primary care incentives.<br /><br />The meeting will be held in person in Cheyenne and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature's Website (www.wyoleg.gov).
